Arrest after £4k in cash and cannabis seized in raid
A MAN has been arrested after thousands of pounds of cash and a quantity of cannabis were found during a raid on a house in Llanelli.
Officers from DyfedPowys Police, including a firearms unit, executed a warrant at a property in the Bryn area of Llanelli on Wednesday.
Several officers were involved in the raid, and a battering ram and other equipment was used at the scene.
Once entry was gained, the house and an outdoor shed were searched, leading to the seizure of more than £4,000 in cash, 20g of cannabis and a mobile phone.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and released under investigation.
A spokesman for Dyfed
Powys Police said: “At 10am on Wednesday, July 8, police executed a drugs warrant in Maes y Bryn, Bryn, Llanelli.
“Inside police found a quantity of cannabis and more than £4,000 in cash.”
