Bethesda Chapel Cynhaliwyd oedfa arbennig yng ngofal y gweinidog, sef ‘Operation Christmas Child’ – ymgyrch dan adain yr elusen Gristnogol ‘Samaritan’s Purse’ sydd yn danfon anrhegion i blant anghenus led-led y byd. Darlleniad addas am ‘Y Samariad Trugarog’ gan Keith Thomas a dewisiad yr emynau yn adlewyrchu’r thema o frawdgarwch (organydd Geraint Williams). Yna cyflwyniad gan Margaret Lee a Margaret Harries ar hanes a chefndir y mudiad. Sefydliad diduedd o ran cenedl, crefydd a credo; hefyd yn cyflawni prosiectau hir-dymor a pharhaus trwy rhaglenni datblygu ac hyfforddiant. Dangoswyd ffilm o’r gwirfoddolwyr yn dosbarthu’r rhoddion i’r gwledydd tramor a llawenydd y plant yn amlwg wrth iddynt dderbyn eu pecynnau. Sylwadau terfynol yn nwylo’r gweinidog pan gyfeiriodd at y rhinweddau o drugaredd a chyfiawnder. Bellach soniodd am y pwysigrwydd i weithredu yn ogystal â’r elfen ysbrydol. Cawsom ymateb hael i’r apêl.
