Netting 10,000 sugar daddies
MORE than 10,000 would-be “sugar daddies” in Beijing have joined a matchmaking website that pairs wealthy men with younger girlfriends or mistresses.
SeekingArrangement.com said about 100,000 men on the Chinese mainland had signed up to its service since the US-based website launched in the Far East last September. Each of the Beijing members has about £1.3 million in assets, based on the figures they gave when registering, The South China Morning Post reported. Website founder Brandon Wade said the platform aimed to help poorer women, mostly students. He added: “Professionals today have no time for traditional dating.”
