MH370 pilot’s simulator plotted ocean deviation

-

A HOME flight simulator owned by the captain of MH370 was used to plot a course to the southern Indian Ocean, where the Malaysia Airlines flight is believed to have crashed in 2014, Australian officials said today.

Last week, the New York Magazine said FBI analysis had found Zaharie Ahmad Shah’s simulator had been used to conduct the flight a month before the jet deviated from its Kuala Lumpur to Beijing route on March 8 with 239 people on board. Malaysia rejected this but today Australia’s Joint Agency Co-ordination Centre said the course was indeed plotted.
