“The horn is very useful for pedestrian­s jumping off the pavement or cars doing something weird — it really makes you feel much safer.

“If you see places where riders honk their horn more often you can analyse that informatio­n and find out if they are the most dangerous parts of London to ride in.

“Once you start collecting data on how long it takes a rider to get from A to B you can help them find a better, safer route.”
