Inter Milan first test for Kane

HARRY KANE is set to make his first appearance of the summer for Tottenham in their friendly with Inter Milan on August 5,

Kane and Spurs’ other internationals have been given an extended break after representing their countries at Euro 2016. They are building their fitness at the club’s Hotspur Way training base ahead of a return to action.

Kane and England colleagues Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker are set to be involved in the friendly against the Serie A side in Oslo. It would be their only appearance in a major pre-season fixture before their season opener at Everton on August 13.

Spurs had six other players at the tournament in France. Belgium trio Mousa Dembele, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen – who is currently injured — reached the quarter-finals, where they were beaten by Ben Davies’ Wales.

Hugo Lloris was defeated in the final with France while Kevin Wimmer and Austria were eliminated in the group stages.
