£323m Pinewood sell-off gets OK from watchdog

THE £323.3 million sale of Pinewood Studios today got the green light from the Financial Conduct Authority. The north London film studio, which houses the set of Star Wars (above), agreed to a takeover by private-equity fund PW Real Estate Fund III earlier this month. Pinewood shareholders vote on the deal on September 19.
