Parents can’t fight knife crime alone
IT IS disturbing to hear the seemingly never-ending news of London’s teenagers being stabbed to death [“Met plea: Parents must act to stop stabbings”, February 20]. We cannot allow children to die on our streets.
While I think parents have a better chance of getting through to their children, they cannot do it on their own.
It will take a joined-up effort from the Mayor, politicians, the public and the Met in order to reduce the number of knives — and therefore stabbings — in the capital.
