MP calls for web action on terror
INTERNET bosses could face a new criminal offence of “failing to act” to remove terrorist videos and manuals online, a Commons committee chairman said today.
Damian Collins made the call as Scotland Yard revealed it is investigating whether online material helped to radicalise Westminster attacker Khalid Masood. Tory MP Mr Collins, chairman of the crossparty Culture, Media and Sport
Select Committee, said: “This radical material is incredibly serious.”
