Strictly fan event off as ticket sales fall short

A MUCH-HYPED Strictly Come Dancing fan event has been cancelled. Organisers of Strictly Come Dancing: The Spectacular said: “Demand has not been as strong as we had hoped so we’ve taken the difficult decision to cancel it.” The event, at the ExCeL London, faced a backlash about £70 ticket prices. A BBC Worldwide spokesman said all ticket holders would get a refund.
