Taiwan’s top judges to rule on gay marriage
TAIWAN could become the first state in Asia to legalise gay marriage after its constitutional court today began hearing arguments in a landmark case. Taiwan’s MPs have been debating a law allowing same-sex marriage and President Tsai Ing-wen has previously backed marriage equality but the move has sparked a conservative backlash.
