JENNIFER LOPEZ steals the show at the Billboard Latin Music Awards with two plunging outfits — and two trophies. The singer, 47, won the star award and the prize for social artist of the year. Eva Longoria also attended. SADIQ KHAN today called on all political parties to give a “cast-iron” manifesto pledge to press ahead with Crossrail 2 in the next Parliament.

The Mayor said that without the £31 billion north-south line from Surrey to Hertfordshire via central London, the capital’s commuter networks will collapse due to the sheer number of passengers trying to use them.

“If the next government doesn’t give the green light to Crossrail 2 the network across the South of England could go into meltdown with dire consequences,” he said

Competition from big-budget TV shows and the collapse of the DVD market has made it harder for smaller film-makers to raise cash, says PACT, which represents independent producers. Previous British films on that scale include Bend It Like Beckham and Attack The Block.
