Garden Bridge, please

THOMAS Heatherwick’s proposed Garden Bridge across the Thames would be an oasis of natural beauty in the city, a haven for workers and a magnet for tourists. It is a shame, then, that the Mayor has apparently set his face against it in a disappointingly political move with an eye to the short term. We hope he will think again.
