‘We lost our way at Millwall — now only one match matters’

regardless of what has gone before. If we do not, we have let ourselves down.

“The Tottenham game knocked us for six a little bit. It knocked our confidence and we lost our way a little bit. We have not been consistent enough since then but if you get into the play-offs, nothing that has gone before matters.”

Opponents Bristol Rovers are in midtable and have nothing to play for on the final day. Southend and Rochdale both have home games, against Bury and Bradford. Bury need a point to guarantee survival while Bradford are already assured of a play-off place.

“We do not have to worry about other results,” says Morison. “We have just got to do our job. If we lose then we do not deserve to be in the play-offs. When we do turn up and perform, we are a very good team and can beat anyone in this league. If we turn up on Sunday, we should not have a problem.”
