Ex-TfL boss Hendy to run Olympic legacy

FORMER Transport for London boss Sir Peter Hendy is to be the new chairman of the body in charge of the capital’s Olympic legacy.

Mayor Sadiq Khan announced his appointment to head the London Legacy Development Corporation today, saying he has “un-rivalled knowledge and experience.”

Sir Peter’s role will include overseeing the finances of the former Olympic stadium, now the London Stadium.
