Correction

On page nine of last week’s Echo (Wednesday, March 9) an article stated that Loughborough MP Nicky Morgan praised the work of Loughborough University as it was named the best sporting university in the world. In a quote from Mrs Morgan it read: “I would like to say a huge congratulations to everyone involved in Loughborough sport, both as the University and Charnwood College.” The quote should have read Loughborough College and not Charnwood College. The Echo would like to apologise to Loughborough College and Mrs Morgan and for any confusion caused by this.
