Apprenticeship recognition for college

-

LOUGHBOROUGH College has been recognized for its capability to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training with a spot on a national register.

After a rigorous process with the Skills Funding Agency, the college has received approval to join the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP).

Employers with a wage bill exceeding £3m will soon have to pay a levy towards training apprentices, which they will be able to manage through the digital apprenticeship service. Organisations not listed on the RoATP by May 1 will not be eligible to deliver apprenticeship training to employers using the apprenticeship service.

Director of business development at the college, Gemma Knott said: “This demonstrates the calibre of our training delivery and we are committed to working with employers to continue delivering top quality apprenticeships.

“I would encourage employers to explore our offer on the digital apprenticeship service and see how we can help them.”
