Japanese visitors to be welcomed

-

A LOUGHBOROUGH medical practice will host Japanese professors and medical students this year.

Pinfold Medical Practice has a longstanding history of training registrars and medical students and in late March Japanese students and professors are to arrive at the facility.

Earlier this year Tottori University approached Dr Jean Wong, RCGP for international health, to ask if the Pinfold Medical Practice would host its students.

The medical students will visit the Loughborough practice, then Cambridge University and then return home to share their experiences of NHS general practices.

Dr Wong and educational manager Mrs Kay Siddons say they are honoured to be chosen.

In a joint statement they said: “This would not be possible without the full support and co-operation of our patients and with that, we give our whole hearted thanks to them and trust this wonderful relationship we have with our patients will continue for many years to come.”
