Switchgear jobs axed

IT WAS announced that Brush Switchgear - would be cutting 135 jobs at the Loughborou­gh factory.

At the time Brush in Loughborou­gh employed 800 workers, and manufactur­ing director Paul Webb explained the job cuts were to: “address marketing opportunit­ies in the 90s and to compete with its major European manufactur­ing operators.”
