Switchgear jobs axed

IT WAS announced that Brush Switchgear - would be cutting 135 jobs at the Loughborough factory.

At the time Brush in Loughborough employed 800 workers, and manufacturing director Paul Webb explained the job cuts were to: “address marketing opportunities in the 90s and to compete with its major European manufacturing operators.”
