Dijkstra triumphs
BEN DIJKSTRA signed off his schools cross country career with a national title after winning the Seniors title at the 2017 English Schools Cross Country Championships held in Norwich.
The 18-year-old was representing Leicestershiore and Rutland at the 7.2knm course and in victory completed an amazing winnng sequence dating back to 2013.
He won the Junior title in 2013, the Intermediate titles in 2014 and 2015, missed 2016 though injury before making a wininng return at the weekend.
