Good spirited Shepshed citizen

HOORAY for Community Spirit

Can I say how pleased I am to see that a good spirited citizen of Shepshed has taken on the task of tidying up Butt Hole Lane in Shepshed.

This is a well used lane that is used by a very diverse group of people from parents taking their kids to the Hind Leys School Campus to cyclists, allotment holders, walkers etc.

The lane suffers badly from the effects of the weather, particularly the autumn/winter, when it gets very muddy and messy.

Once upon a time the council used to tidy it up but I guess with the council starved of money this is now a low priority.

So well done to the person or persons responsible. Keep it up it really is appreciated
