ST PETER’S PARISH CHURCH. Saturday, March 25 is the Annunciation of Our Lord to the B.V.M. (“Lady-Day”) when we remember the Angel’s salutation of the Virgin Mary.

All are warmly invited to the Parish Church of St Peter (Market Place) Mountsorrel to keep the Feast with a traditional celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 10.30am.

The celebrant will be the Parish Priest and if anyone would like to join us for a Pub’ Lunch afterwards please contact Ian on 01509 - 890 889.

John Strange would also like to bring to your attention a “Songs of Praise” he is arranging on Saturday 1 April at 7pm. There will be an opportunity to sing a selection of some of the greatest hymns by Charles Wesley and many others.

The guest Soloist will be Caroline Sharpe (Soprano) with arias by Handel and Mozart. Contributions invited at the end to “Send a Cow”.

Both events will conclude with coffee / tea in the Antill Vestry.
