Adventurous tale with Shakespeare

-

A QUORN resident, and an active member of a local theatre society, has released a debut novel that takes readers on a rollicking adventure through modern England – accompanied by the Virgin Queen and William Shakespeare.

Sharon Scott, who regularly writes and directs for the New Quorndon Shakespeare Company, is the brains behind Elizabeth, William... and Me - starring a woman called Ally whose world gets shaken up when Elizabeth Tudor appears in her pantry and the Bard of Stratford-upon-Avon shows up in her bath.

Sharon, who has already penned several other novels, told the Echo: “This is one of the first stories I’ve really ran with. I’ve always had an interest in Shakespeare and I just wondered how he and the Tudors would view the world if they were catapulted into the 21st Century and what their reactions would be.”

Elizabeth, William... and Me is available to purchase via Amazon and can be ordered through leading book stores.
