‘Pigeons eating our peas’

-

A SHEPSHED couple claimed that “pigeons ruined our peas”

And the pair put pen to paper to write a letter to Shepshed Urban Council stating their concerns. Mr George McMorran and his wife Glennis wrote a letter to the council and said that they would no longer be growing vegetables in their garden because of damage that they said had been caused by their neighbour’s pigeons.

They told the Echo: “Last year the pigeons pecked away six rows of peas and one row of brussels so now we will only be planting flowers.”
