FC Polonia clinch Division Three title wth home win

IN THE Sports Advocate Division Two Champions Kegworth Imperial ended their season with an 8-3 win at home against Holwell Sports DT, Jordan Davies (3), Luke Robinson (3), Leo Ricci and Jay Robinson for the Imps, Mark Cowling, Stephen Fenwick and an own goal for Holwell. CK Dons beat Shelthorpe Dynamo Reserves 3-2, Tom Figura, Darren Lightbrown and Jamie Kightley for the Dons, Nathan Lowe and Kieron McEnery for Shelthorpe.

In the Windmill Trophies Division Three Loughborough FC ‘A’ won 1-0 away at Loughborough Emmanuel, Jordan Crossland hitting the only goal of the game for the Luffs. Sileby Victoria Reserves drew 3-3 with woodhouse Imperial Reserves, Colin Bowden, Joe Wardle and Remi white for Sileby, Jake Melbourne (2) and Stu Brookes for Woodhouse. Shepborough United also drew 3-3 with Bottesford FC Reserves, Robbie Oliver (2) and Ashley Heffer for Shepborough, Jake Swallow (2) and Mark Powell for Bottesford.

Greenhill YC FC Reserves lifted the Bonser Trophy in a 2-0 win against Castle Donington FC Reserves. Ryan Wilkes opened the scoring with a 35-yard thunderbolt and Lewis Mead adding the second with both goals in the first half.

In the Premier Cup semi-final, East Leake won 4-1 at Falcons FC with goals from Matt Jelley (2), Jake Consterdine and Alex Pritchett, Guy Love replying for the Falcons.

Greenhill YC took the runners up spot in the East Goscote Plumbers Premier Division after a 3-3 draw away at East Leake FC, Karl Harratt hitting a hat trick for Greenhill, Alex Pritchett, Matt Jelley and Eddy Price with the East Leake goals.

Sutton Bonington Academicals won 3-2 away at Mountsorrel Amateurs, Joe Fitzsimmons, Zac Jackson and Elliott Cooke for the Accies, John Gilding helping himself to both the Mountsorrel goals.

In the shedland.co.uk Division One Sporting Markfield won 3-0 away at Castle Donington, Jack Fletcher (2) and Kieran Harding with the Markfield goals.

Sports Advocate Division Two runners up Shelthorpe Dynamo Reserves lost 6-4 at home to Market Bosworth, James Hurst (2), Matt Angel (2), Frank Armsden and Ben Gascoigne with the Bosworth goals, George Vernon, Ryan Mitchinson, Joe Murphy and Tom Burt for Shelthorpe.

Goals from Josh Barr (2), Steve Williams (2), Sean Waters, Brian Mulroe, Jack Ball and an own goal gave Loughborough United Reserves an 8-1 win at home to Greenhill YC ‘A’, Ashley Hibbert for Greenhill. Woodhouse Imperial Reserves beat Shepborough United 6-0, Jake Melbourne (2). Craig Tebbs (2), Ant Greasley and Phil Raybould with the Woodhouse goals.

In the National Christian Cup semi final Loughborough Emmanuel lost 2-1 against Beacon Camberley (Surrey) 2-1, Matt Harris hitting the Emmanuel goal.
