DYNAMO 7 LOUGHBOROUGH FC 0 LOUGHBOROUGH Dynamo reached the final of this season’s Loughborough Charity Cup Semi Final and will face Shepshed Dynamo after a 7-0 win over Loughborough FC at the Nanpantan Sports Ground.

Dynamo could have been ahead before taking the lead in the 18th minute when Loughborough failed to clear the ball and Sam Thorpe was able to turn the ball home.

Six minutes Dynamo doubled their lead when Karl Demidh’s left footed inswinging free kick from out wide on the Dynamo right eluded visiting goalkeeper George Longstaff.

Dynamo looked the stronger side in the second half, but it wasn’t until the 69th minute the home side were able to add to their tally through Jack Bewley and two minutes later Durkin made it 4-0.

Loughborough had the chance to pull a goal back a minute later when Dynamo conceded a penalty. Weston took the spot kick but his powerful rising shot drew an excellent save from Tolley.

Tom Rigby, Dynamo’s other substitute, was able to put in a powerful low shot from an angle in the 80th minute. Longstaff was able to get both hands to the shot, but the ball ran over the line. Sixty seconds later Hodgkinson was on the end of a right wing centre to head home.

Rigby rounded off the scoring in the 87th minute when he slotted home an angled shot to round off Dynamo’s home season.
