Gins from around world to land at Space Centre
WORLD Gin Day is a celebration of all things gin, giving people a legitimate excuse to mix up a cocktail and learn about all of the exceptional gins from around the world and from right on their doorsteps.
There are hundreds of gin events happening in the midst of this gin revolution, but the Leicestershire Gin Festival night at the National Space Centre in Leicester on Saturday, June 10, is unique. Your ticket gets you entry to explore the galleries of the National Space Centre, but also a whole new world of gin.
Organisers will fill the building with the best gin producers, fantastic live entertainment, specialist science talks, hosted gin tastings, food court, bars and even a walk through gin experience.
This really is an evening like no other.
The Lounge Kittens are gin loving rock chicks with a penchant for a three-part harmony and they will be performing.
In the past five years, they have been invited to open Limp Bizkit’s set on the main stage at Sonisphere, toured the UK and Europe with bad boys of heavy metal Steel Panther and as the opening act for Status Quo’s ‘Last Night of the Electrics’ Tour, conquered London’s O2 Arena.
Their sets are jam-packed full of their humorous, entertaining and technically challenging covers, from Rammstein to Usher and everything in between. The trio have played to sell-out crowds at London’s iconic 100 Club, the IOW Festival’s Big Top, Glastonbury, Download Festival, Graspop, Boardmasters and even a sell-out stint at Edinburgh Fringe.
Included in the £10 entry ticket are free gin samples, free limited edition glass, live music from the Lounge Kittens, best gin producers to try and buy, a food court, an immersive gin sensory experience, talks and workshops, plus, enjoy exploring the National Space Centre.
