Country show returns

-

AFTER 61 years of raising money for local and national charities, The Great Rempstone Steam and Country Show is for the first time looking East for one of its main ring attractions.

This year the event will feature the fast and furious riding of The Punjab Lancers in competition, and displays by their dancing horses, in the main arena. These together with the ‘White Helmets’ in their final show season, the thrill of daredevil scurry driving and exhibit displays complete an action-packed arena.

Combined with the nostalgia of working steam engines, hundreds of other exhibits, live music and a real ale bar, this is a great weekend destination for the family - and remember kids go free!

Find The Great Rempstone Steam and Country Show at Turnpost Farm, Wymeswold, on July 8 and 9. See www. rempstonesteam. org for more details.
