Spider-Man role for pageant queen

-

MISS LOUGHBOROUGH and her son are to appear in a Spider-Man film made by a creative whose previous work gained more than 15 million views.

The Echo previously reported that Leicester film-maker Joey Lever has been working on his second SpiderMan-based project and the film, titled Spider-Man 2: Another World, has shot scenes in Loughborough and Leicester.

And Loughborough’s own pag- eant queen, Kellyann Mitchell, and her five-year-old son, Jake Hill, have been part of the action.

Kellyann told the Echo: “I know Joey and I said if he needs a hand, me and Jake will get involved. He said that’s cool and we met the team and shot a scene near a fountain in Leicester.

“I can’t say too much about what we do, but we play a mother and son and Jake spots Spider-Man undercover.

“I told Jake that Joey was the real Spider-Man so he wouldn’t turn up and say ‘you’re not Spider-Man!’.

“He was really excited and Joey played along with it too.”

The official trailer for Spider-Man 2: Another World was released online at the start of June and has received almost 16,000 views.

Joey told the Echo he hopes to release the film in November.
