Loughborough Dynamo strengthening their squad

-

LOUGHBOROUGH Dynamo continue their build up to the start of the 2017-18 Evo-Stik League campaign by unveiling several new signings to their squad.

Several members of the squad who were part of the club’s own ‘great escape’, winning the last four league games of last season, have returned to the Nanpantan Sports Ground. These include midfielder Jared Holmes and front man Karl Demidh, both of who arrived mid season from Coalville Town, as well as prominent centre back Jack Andrews and left back/wide left midfielder Louis Keenan.

Also arrived this summer having previously played for Dynamo are right winger Luke Smithson, who joins from Lincoln United, and centre back or left back Chris Hollis arrives from Leicester Nirvana.

New faces are experienced midfielder Paolo Piliero from Long Eaton United, forward Danny Quinn from Hednesford Town, and defender Joel Wolfe from Coalville Town.

Manager Peter Ward said: “I am very pleased that I’ve retained all the members of the squad from late last season that I wanted to.

“All the new faces I’ve brought in are experienced players. It’s a long season in the league, as well as several cup competitions, so I need some depth to the squad as well. I’m hoping to add a few more additions to the playing side before we kick off our league season on August 12.”
