Alice at the park

-

THIS week, Bradgate Park Trust is to welcome back Quantum Theatre for two days of performances of their family friendly production; Alice through the Looking Glass.

The show is packed full of Carroll’s most memorable and enduring characters as well as many of his finest nonsense poems and songs.

The delightful adaptation by Michael Whitmore is said to capture all the quirky charm of the original and, to add to the magic, the performances take place in the ruins of Bradgate House.

The first show is taking place tomorrow (Thursday, August 10) at 11am. There will be a second performance at 2.30pm, and two performances, at the same times, the following day.

Peter Tyldesley, Director Bradgate Park Trust said: “Last year we welcomed Quantum Theatre to Bradgate Park for the first time, and their production sold out on the day and had top reviews from our visitors. “

Tickets are available at the visitor centre, park shop in Newtown Linford and online at www. seetickets.com.

Adult tickets are £12, child tickets are £8 and a family ticket of two adults and two children is £32.

For this event people need to park at one of the trust car parks and stroll to the ruins. Parking all day is £3.
