Dou­ble decker cafe parks up at Out­woods

A pop­u­lar dou­ble decker bus café has pulled in to serve cus­tomers at the Out­woods in Lough­bor­ough.

The Lough­bor­ough beauty spot has wel­comed the Ella Louise dou­ble decker bus café, run by Pep­per­corns cater­ing which has shops in An­stey and Barrow-upon-Soar, as well as Abbey Park in Le­ices­ter.

The café can seat up to 35 peo­ple up­stairs and will be open ev­ery week­end at the Out­woods.

Coun Hi­lary Fryer, lead mem­ber for open spa­ces and leisure ser­vices and chair of the Out­woods man­age­ment com­mit­tee, said: “The wood­land is ex­tremely pop­u­lar with res­i­dents and we hope they will en­joy ev­ery­thing this dif­fer­ent and novel café has to of­fer.”

Cathy Cliffe, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Pep­per­corn Cater­ing, said: “The bus is a bit dif­fer­ent and peo­ple quite en­joy sit­ting up­stairs with a cuppa and a bite to eat. Now they’ll be able to do that while over­look­ing the beau­ti­ful Out­woods.”
