CHARN­WOOD Or­ches­tra’s first con­cert of its 2017/18 sea­son is to take place in Barrow-up­onSoar this month.

The mu­si­cians will be at Holy Trin­ity Church on Satur­day, Septem­ber 23, at 7.30pm.

The or­ches­tra will once again be con­ducted by Nic Fal­low­field, per­form­ing a cel­e­bra­tion of clas­si­cal works in­clud­ing CPE Bach’s Sym­phony in D, Mozart’s Flute Con­certo No1. (per­formed by Ti­mothy Tay­lor­son), Gluck’s Dance of the Furies and Dance of the Blessed Spirit and Schu­bert’s Sym­phony No.5. There will be an in­ter­val bar.

Tick­ets cost £13, £11 (con­ces­sions) and £3 for ac­com­pa­nied chil­dren un­der 16. Tick­ets can be bought via Paypal from www. charn­woodor­ches­tra.org.uk, at the Pa­per Shop in Barrow-up­onSoar, or on the door.
