Honey G in town

FORMER X-Factor star Honey G is coming to Loughborough.

The rapper from north west London will be heading to Loughborough University as part of her first UK tour.

She will be performing at the Loughborough Students’ Union in Ashby Road on Wednesday, September 27.

Anna Georgette Gilford (or Honey G as she is far more well known) will be at the university as part of the freshers week activities at the end of this month which will run from Monday, September 25 until Sunday, October 1.

She will be appearing at the ‘Hey Ewe’ event ran by the Students’ Union, with tickets priced at £3.50 but only students will be able to attend.

Honey G was in the bottom two in the quarter-final of last year’s X-Factor against 5 After Midnight.

After the sing-off, only judge Sharon Osbourne voted to keep Honey G, but she was eliminated in fifth place.

On June 3 this year Honey G released her second single “Hit You With The Honey G” alongside its music video.
