Will Aid initiative aims to encourage people to make a will

-

CHARITY partnership Will Aid and branches of Lloyds Bank across Leicestershire have come together to encourage more people to make a will.

Will Aid Month, which takes place every November, encourages people to write their will with a local solicitor. Participating law firms give their time to write basic wills, with clients making a voluntary donation to Will Aid instead of paying a fee. Donations support the vital work of the nine partner charities.

Ahead of the 2017 campaign, Lloyds Banking Group will be promoting the scheme in their 13 branches in Leicestershire.

James Tarleton, chair of Will Aid, said: “We would encourage those who would like to make an appointment with Will Aid to book as soon as possible as solicitors are filling up fast.”

The recommended donation for your basic Will Aid will is £95 for a single will and £150 for a pair of mirror wills.
