Elizabeth is on the winning team in BBC’s The Apprentice

A BUSINESSWOMAN who started her first business in Shepshed was on the winning side in the first episode of the new season of The Apprentice.

Elizabeth McKenna, 39, was part of the girls team ‘Graphene’ who decided to make luxury burgers for the first task.

Liz managed to crack a deal for the beefburger meat for £6 a kilogram, before half of the team headed to Canary Wharf to sell their premium burgers.

Liz was then put in charge of cooking the luxury burgers along with Siobhan Smith - the 34-yearold who has her own wedding company - but the pair didn’t seem best suited and ended up bickering over the burgers.
