Nursery toasts OFSTED thumbs up
RADMOOR Day Nursery and the holiday club at Loughborough College are celebrating the latest OFSTED report, after they scored ‘Good’ in every category.
The education watchdog judged safety at the nursery and club to be effectively promoted found children to “make good progress and gain skills that help them with their future learning and starting school” - including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who speak English as a second language.
They were also found to have “exciting and stimulating activities” offered by its “extremely effective” staff and described its partnership with parents as “strong”.
Nursery manager Veronica Savill said: “We are delighted with the outcome of our inspection. The report is a real testament to every one of our staff in the nursery and the holiday club and is a fantastic boost for us and for all the parents of our children as we build towards the exciting launch of our new facilities in 2018.”
