Nursery toasts OFSTED thumbs up

RADMOOR Day Nursery and the holiday club at Loughborou­gh College are celebratin­g the latest OFSTED report, after they scored ‘Good’ in every category.

The education watchdog judged safety at the nursery and club to be effectivel­y promoted found children to “make good progress and gain skills that help them with their future learning and starting school” - including children with special educationa­l needs and/or disabiliti­es and those who speak English as a second language.

They were also found to have “exciting and stimulatin­g activities” offered by its “extremely effective” staff and described its partnershi­p with parents as “strong”.

Nursery manager Veronica Savill said: “We are delighted with the outcome of our inspection. The report is a real testament to every one of our staff in the nursery and the holiday club and is a fantastic boost for us and for all the parents of our children as we build towards the exciting launch of our new facilities in 2018.”
