SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14 Coffee morning in aid of the Charnwood Christmas Toy Appeal, from 10am-noon at Trinity Methodist Church, Loughborou­gh. Autumn fair, Holy Trinity Church, Ratcliffe-on-Soar NG11 0EA, from 10am to 3pm. Craft stall, home-made produce, books, white elephant, light refreshmen­t tombola stall - all proceeds towards church funds. Everyone welcome to this annual village event. Free car park. Rummage sale, Emmanuel Church EMMA Group, Emmanuel Church Hall, Forest Road, Loughborou­gh, 10am. Admission 50p, proceeds to local charities. Loughborou­gh Student’s Union Tuxedo Swing perform at Hoton Village Hall at 7.30pm. Tuxedo Swing are a semi-profession­al big band (and society) comprised of current and past members of Loughborou­gh Student’s Union.
