Darts league awards evening -
THE 2017 summer season of the Loughborough and District Pubs/Clubs Darts League was brought to a conclusion at a Presentation Night held at Fennel Street Club, Loughborough last Friday.
The evening commenced with the 180 ‘9 dart’ throw off competition where many of the league players who had qualified by hitting a maximum during the summer season took up their option to compete. The event was won by Brush AW captain Andy Wooldridge with a total of 230 from his 9 darts. The runner up was Mark Smith just four behind with 226. Andy received the competition trophy and a cash prize of £25 for his efforts.
The trophies and prize monies were then presented to the winning teams by many of the leagues sponsors or their representatives.

Plate Competition Winners: Blue Ball Lions, Runners-up: Crown Rejects. Shardlow Brewery ‘ Champion of Champions’ Winners: Three Crowns Barrow. Division One & Two Singles Winner: Gaz Cousins, Runner-Up: Mark Wagg. Division Three-Six Sin- gles Winner: Danny Buchanan, Runner-up: Rich Woolley; Division One & Two Pairs Winners: Kev Thomas & Daz Healy, Runner’s-up: Daz Beasley & Andy Wooldridge. The league would like to congratulate all the winning teams and individuals, and to thank all those that attended the presentation evening and helped make the occasion such a resounding success.
