Big wins for the high flyers in Division One

THE BLUE Ball Lions and Bottom Railway both won 8-1 last week in Blue Ball Division One of the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs & Clubs Darts League. Kev Bryan hit a maximum and Paul Hutchins a 116 finish for the Blue Ball as they beat the Royal Oak Bluemoon Foxes 8-1, with ‘Foxes’ captain Steve Cox also hitting a maximum in the game. Bottom Railway BA beat the Royal Oak DP whilst Spot On MP beat the Boat House Tap Tappers 7-2. Barrow Cons Wagg’s Gang made it two wins from two with a narrow 5-4 win against the Three Nuns Left Footers.

In Wanty’s Division Two the Black Swan Gatecrashe­rs beat the Beacon 7-2 to take over at the top of the division from the Spot On Lads who did not play, and Arena Gladiators and Unicorn AW both won to get their season started.

In S H Cox Division Three, Lee Pervin hit two maximums for the Three Nuns Exiles as they beat the Spot On Rejects 5-4 to go top. Michael Sciepanow and Eric Davis both hit maximums for a second week for the Spot On Guys & Gals, but they still ended up on the losing side as newly promoted Twelve Degrees 26er’s beat them 5-4. Black Swan JS beat the Three Nuns Reds and Paul Edwards hit a maximum for Tap and Mallet CD as they beat the Three Nuns Albion 5-4.

In Generous Briton Division Four the Tap and Clapper beat OEG Dad’s Army 7-2 to set the early pace and head the division. The Richmond Jukeboxers beat the Plough B 5-4 and the Peacock Feathers beat the Boat Black Pearls 6-3. For informatio­n the Bull and Bush Laughing Boys have withdrawn from the division so this fixture should be considered a bye for the rest of the season.

In Navigation Division Five the Crown Jewels Barrow beat the Windmill Wild Hearts 7-2, and they lead from the Bottom Railway Leftovers who beat the Royal Oak Old Uns 5-4. Plough Ernie’s won their first game with a good 7-2 result against Blue Ball CS.

Finally in Jim Kidger Division Six after two games LSU Darts @ Arena are they only unbeaten side after their close 5-4 win against Blue Ball MS. Arena Savvies beat Top Railway One Bad Apple 6-3 and Crown KM beat the Royal Oak Oakers 7-2.
