Panto returns to Town Hall

FOLLOWING the record breaking, five-star smash hits Cinderella and Aladdin comes a brand new pantomime adventure at Loughborou­gh Town Hall that targets your funny bone!

This year, residents are invited to travel deep into the heart of magical Sherwood Forest, where the men wear the tights and the women wear the trousers, with Robin Hood.

King Richard is away negotiatin­g a trade deal with Europe, he may be some time so the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham is hatching a plan to dispose of his niece and nephew to inherit a fortune and steal the crown for himself.

It’s all down to Robin, Marian and the gang to stop him in his tracks.

This show is jam packed with daring duels, stunning sets, outrageous costumes and a very merry man in a dress that will set your heart a quiver.

Loughborou­gh has a strong tradition of producing high quality, family pantomimes for the local community to enjoy each Christmas.

With hilarious scripts, stunning sets and beautiful costumes tailor-made for our audiences, Loughborou­gh Town Hall works year-round with Pantomime producers Little Wolf Entertainm­ent to create a magical show the whole family will enjoy.

Thomas Gilbey is to star in the show as Robin Hood. He is currently appearing in Godiva Rocks! at the Coventry Bel- grade before heading to Loughborou­gh.

Joining him on stage will be Alice Frankham as Maid Marian, Katherine Moraz as Fairy Fern, James Peake as Nanny Nora Nightnurse, Kristian Cunningham as Much the Miller’s Son, Geoff Arnold as Guy of Gisborne/King Richard, Tim Phelps as Merry Men and Lawrence Boothman as the Sheriff of Nottingham.
