Leaders stay on top after 5-4 victory

ANDY Hibbert hit his fifth maximum of the season for leaders Bottom Railway BA as they beat Spot On MP 5-4 in Blue Ball Division One of the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs & Clubs Darts League last week. Spot On MP’s Mitch Gregory also hit a maximum in the game which keeps Bottom Railway one point ahead of the Blue Ball Lions who beat the Royal Oak Shooters by the same score. Last season’s runners up Boat House Tap Tappers got their season started with a 7-2 win against the Royal Oak Bluemoon Foxes and Royal Oak DP beat the Three Nuns Left Footers by the same score.

In Wanty’s Division Two Black Swan Gatecrashe­rs remain top despite losing for the first time this season as they lost 5-4 to the Three Crowns Ghostbuste­rs. Arena Gladiators move up to second place as a result of their 8-1 win against the Spot On Lads in a game brought forward from next week. Unicorn AW are third after their 6-3 win against Blacksmith­s Blue Army and Tap and Mallet JB beat the Beacon 7-2 to move up to fourth.

In S H Cox Division Three the Peacock Rockers take over at the top of the division despite losing 5-4 to Twelve Degrees 26er’s who move up to fourth as a result. The Three Nuns Exiles did not play but remain second from Spot On Guy ‘n’ Gals who had a good 7-2 win against Three Nuns Albion.

In Generous Briton Division Four all three results ended in 6-3 wins. Tap and Clapper lost to the Crown Rejects but remain top from Plough B who beat OEG Dads Army. Richmond Jukeboxers are third after their win against the Peacock Feathers.

In Navigation Division Five leaders Crown Jewels Barrow continued their impressive start to the season with a 5-4 win against the Royal Oak Old Uns and second place Bottom Railway Leftovers are also still unbeaten after they overcame the Tap and Clapper Rojo’s by the same narrow margin.

Finally in Jim Kidger Division Six LSU Darts @ Arena lost their 100% record as they were beaten 6-3 by the White Hart Stags, as a result Blue Ball MS replace them at the top of the division after their impressive 8-1 win against the Arena Savvies.
