BOTTOM Railway BA beat Barrow Cons Wagg’s Gang 8-1 to go back to the top of Blue Ball Division One of the Loughborough and District Pubs & Clubs Darts League last week after the Blue Ball Lions lost 7-2 to Spot On MP.

Andy Hibbert hit two maximums and Chris Peat one for the Bottom Railway as they open up an 11 point lead at the top of the division. In Wanty’s Division Two the Spot On Lads have withdrawn from the league so the fixture against them should be considered as another bye for the rest of the season. Tap and Mallet JB remain top despite not playing, with the Three Crowns Ghostbusters moving up to second after their 6-3 win against the Beacon.

In S H Cox Division Three Sam Worthington hit his fourth maximum of the season for the Peacock Rockers as they beat the Three Nuns Exiles 5-4 in the top of the table clash. The win means that the two are now tied for the top position at the half way stage of the season. Pete Brookes hit a maximum for the Black Swan JS as they whitewashed the Three Nuns Albion 9-0 to record the biggest winning margin of the night.

In Generous Briton Division Four Tap and Clapper now lead the division despite losing 5-4 to the Richmond Jukeboxers, but Crown Rejects with the only unbeaten record in the league still intact are only two points behind with two games in hand on the leaders. The Boat Black Pearls beat the Plough B 5-4 in the only other game played in the division.

In Navigation Division Five the Bottom Railway Leftovers beat the Crown Jewels Barrow 6-3 to take over at the top of the division. The Tap and Clapper Rojo’s move up to second place after their 5-4 win against Blue Ball CS with the ‘Jewels‘ now third.
