Bottom Railway BA slip to rare defeat against Royal Oak DP

BLUE Ball Division One leaders Bottom Railway BA were beaten for only the second time this season as Royal Oak DP beat them 5-4 in the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs & Clubs Darts League last week.

Leon Jarram hit two maximums and captain Mike Pepper one as Spot On MP beat the Boat House Tap Tappers 5-4 and they remain in second place eight points behind the leaders. Blue Ball Lions are third as Kev Bryan hit his fifth maximum and a 158 finish in their 6-3 win away at the Royal Oak Bluemoon Foxes, and the Three Nuns Left Footers beat the Barrow Cons Wagg’s Gang 5-4.

In Wanty’s Division Two leaders Black Swan Gatecrashe­rs had a good 7-2 win against the Beacon and the Arena Gladiators went one better with their 8-1 demolition of the Bell Foundry Blue Army.

In S H Cox Division Three the Three Nuns Exiles won the top of the table clash against Spot On Rejects 5-4 to lead them by five points. Ben Bryans hit a maximum for his Three Nuns Reds side as they move off the bottom of the table with their 5-4 win against the Black Swan JS. They are replaced by the Tap and Mallet CD who were beaten 6-3 by the Three Nuns Albion.

In Generous Briton Division Four the top two teams were both beaten 6-3, leaders Tap and Clapper by bottom side OEG Dad’s Army, and Richmond Jukeboxers by the Plough B. The results mean that the Crown Rejects replace the ‘Jukeboxers’ in second place, and are now only three points behind the leaders with three games in hand after their 8-1 win against the Dewdrop Blues.

In Navigation Division Five the Bottom Railway Leftovers had a good 7-2 win against the Royal Oak Old Uns and now lead the division by thirteen points from the Tap and Clapper Rojo’s. Ted Sentence hit a maximum for the Crown Jewels Barrow as they consolidat­ed third place with a 5-4 win against the Windmill Wild Hearts.

Finally in Jim Kidger Division Six the Black Swan B&W take the lead following their 7-2 win against the Three Nuns Bad Habits but they are only a point ahead of the White Hart Stags who have a game in hand. Crown KM won only their second game of the season as they overran the Royal Oak Oakers 8-1.
