ESNA Players to present The Full Monty on stage
ONE of the surprise movie hits of last century, The Full Monty is being brought to the stage by The ESNA Players.
Based on the cult hit film of the same name, The Full Monty is filled with honest affection, engaging melodies and the most highly anticipated closing number of any show. It visits Loughborough Town Hall from April 3-7.
While spying on their wives at a ‘Girls’ Night Out’, Jerry and Dave, two steelworkers from Buffalo, New York, come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally.
As they conquer their fears, selfconsciousness and prejudices, the men come to discover that they’re stronger as a group, and the strength that they find in each other gives them the individual courage to “let it go”.
The Full Monty is a story full of heart. With a raucous mix of razorsharp humour and toe-tapping pizzazz, this heartwarming, upbeat comedy is a must for everyone. This show contains strong language and some nudity.
