It’s out with the old and in with the new for singer Justin Timberlake after he bought a fancy luxury apartment in New York while at the same time putting his previous home around the corner on the market.

After buying a four-bedroom luxury condo in New York’s fashionable Tribeca district for the best part of $20 million with his wife, actress Jessica Biel, Justin has now put his former Soho penthouse on the market.

This three-bedroom property is far from modest. The stunning apartment on West Broadway in Lower Manhattan features 2,598 sq ft of living space, floor-to-ceiling windows and solid oak flooring. It’s within an exclusive development called Soho Mews which offers a 24-hour doorman service, private parking, a fitness centre and communal gardens. Justin’s former kitchen is state-of-the-art and features white granite worktops, Miele ovens and a Gaggenau hob. The stunning white master bathroom has a frameless glass shower and a freestanding tub with city views.

Justin bought the apartment for $6.567 million in 2010 and has now listed the property for $7.995 million.

Justin and Jessica’s new home, in which they live with their two-year-old son Silas, is more than twice the size of their former home, which claims neighbours such as Meg Ryan and Jennifer Lawrence.
