Shepshed Dynamo have no answer to Bromsgrove

SHEPSHED DYNAMO 0 BROMSGROVE piled on the pressure from the start with several attempts on goal from Jason Cowley, R’Mar Murray, Liam Armstrong and John Pykett but the Shepshed defence stood firm.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 24th minute, when Richard Gregory went past Joe Pheasant and curled the ball into the roof of the net.
Bromsgrove controlled the game as shots from Josh Quaynor, Richard Gregory, Murray and Cowley tested the Shepshed defence who put up a brave fight against a well organised Bromsgrove forward line and kept the score at 1-0 until half time.
Shepshed started the second half well, creating four good chances - firstly Brennan fired wide, then Liam Hurst had a shot saved by goalkeeper Francis, Joe O’Neil had a shot blocked by defender Jack Wilson and Brennan again had a shot saved by keeper Francis.
Bromsgrove got back into the game and created a few chances and the pressure finally paid off when in the 66th minute R’Marr Murray made it 2 - 0 when a corner from the left by Quaynor was headed back to Liam Armstrong who shot from the edge of the area which brought out a brilliant save from Denham Hinds who pushed the ball onto the post only to see it rebound to Cowley who chipped it across the goal for Murray to slide in at the far post and tap the ball over the line.
Bromsgrove sealed the points on 74 minutes when Liam Armstrong made it 3 - 0 when a shot from Cowley was blocked by Betts only to fall to Armstrong who shot from the left hand side across the goal into the right hand corner of the net.
Shepshed had a couple of more chances, a long range effort from Jake Betts flew over the bar and Liam Hurst had a shot hit the post with Francis stranded but the game ended at 3-0.
