Breakfast launch for corporate initiative

-

THE BRADGATE Park Trust is launching its new Corporate Membership with the first five member companies joining the Trust Director and Trustees for a breakfast launch tomorrow (Thursday, June 7) at the Deer Barns in the heart of Bradgate Park.

The Membership Scheme is designed to offer three different levels of support and engagement in the Charity’s work. By becoming a Corporate Member of the Bradgate Park Trust, businesses are able to support the valuable work improving Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood for the benefit of wildlife and local communities, now and into the future.

Peter Tyldesley, Director of the Bradgate Park Trust said: “Whilst Bradgate Park is well known and the Charity is established, we are a relatively small organisation with a large Estate, including

Leicestershire’s most-loved areas of countryside of Bradgate Park and Swithland Wood.

“For many years, the Trust was unchanging, but in recent years we have been able to drive forward to further deliver our charitable objectives by accessing new sources of funding to replace the council grants that historically provided the bulk of our income.

“The Trust’s charitable purposes, simply put, are to maintain and improve the Park for the benefit of the public and to promote education and an appreciation of the environment. Much of this work is encapsulated in our new strategic plan, which sets out our vision for the next 10 years, and this scheme is one way we are working with local businesses to ensure the charity is

sustainable into the future.”
