THE HOUSE ON COLD HILL

Theatre Royal, Nottingham, Jan 28-Feb 2 2019

-

GET ready for creepy goings-on with the latest Peter James play to hit the stage in Nottingham in January 2019.

Fresh of the huge success of productions like Not Dead Enough, The Perfect Murder and Dead Simple, the chilling ghostly tale The House on Cold Hill is coming to Nottingham’s Theatre Royal.

As part of its UK tour, the play will be taking up residency at the city centre venue for eight shows between January 28 and February 2 2019, with evening shows on each day as well as matinee performance on January 30 and February 2.

Though casting is still yet to be confirmed, the touring production will reunite James (pictured) with producer Joshua Andrews, director Ian Talbot and writer Shaun McKenna.

The play tells the story of the Harcourt family who take up residence in a big dilapidated Georgian mansion in the Sussex countryside. Though they think they’re alone, they quickly realise that they’re not the only residents.

James said: “The intimacy of theatres is particularly well suited to instilling a great atmosphere of suspense and thrills in audiences, and I can promise there will be no shortage of both with the stage production of The House on Cold Hill.”

Tickets for Peter James’ The House on Cold Hill at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal are priced between £15 and £35.50 and are available from trch.co.uk.
