Two teams share the top spot in Division One table

BOTTOM Railway BA and the Bull and Bush Lions are tied at the top of Blue Ball Division One of the Loughborou­gh and District Pubs & Clubs Darts League after last week’s results.

Bottom Railway BA beat the Bull and Bush Gatecrashe­rs 7-2 but the ‘Lions’ went one better with an 8-1 win against the Tap and Mallet JB. There were six maximums scored in the game between the Boat House Tap Tappers and Royal Oak Shooters which the ‘ Tap Tappers’ won 6-3. Dan Jones and Steve Coltman hit two each for the Boat House and Neil Pullen and Jay O’Brian one each for the ‘Shooters’. Mitch Gregory hit his second maximum of the season for Spot On MP and Rich Selby hit his fourth of the season for the Three Crowns Ghostbuste­rs in a game that Spot On won 6-3, and Royal Oak DP won 5-4 against Barrow Cons Wagg’s Gang.

In Wanty’s Division Two Unicorn AW beat the Bell Foundry Blue Army 6-3 to stay three points ahead of second place Bull and Bush who are now the only unbeaten team in the league as they made it seven wins from seven with a 7-2 result against the Three Nuns Right Footers.

In S H Cox Division Three, leaders Spot On Reds lost for the first time this season as they were beaten 5-4 by Fat Sam’s B and second place Crown Court beat third place Old English Gentleman 5-4.

In Generous Briton Division Four the Bottom Railway Leftovers increased their lead at the top of the division to ten points with an 8-1 win against the Peacock Arrows. The Generous Briton So Certs are up to second place after their 6-3 win against the Windmill Wild Hearts and Top Railway Wansum drop to third after their 6-3 loss to Tap and Mallet CD.

Finally in Jim Kidger Division Five leaders Generous Briton Luffs lost 6-3 to the Royal Oak Old Uns and Crown KM beat the Tap and Clapper Rojo’s by the same score to replace them in second spot.
